Some links on this site go to Amazon. If you click one and buy something, Amazon pays me a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same either way — the commission comes out of Amazon's margin, not your pocket.
What that changes
It pays for the products. Nearly everything recommended here was bought at full retail so it could be measured and used before being written about. That is the entire budget, and it's why the commission exists.
What it doesn't change
- No brand pays for a placement, a ranking, or a favourable review. There is no arrangement under which that could happen.
- Every recommendation names at least one thing the product does badly. If a product has a flaw worth knowing about, it's in the write-up, regardless of what it costs in commission.
- Where the honest answer is "don't buy any of these," that's what the page says.
Prices
Prices are never listed on this site. They change constantly, and a stale price is worse than no price. Every product links out so you can see what it actually costs right now.
